Toxic material is found in everything we eat and drink and in the air we breath, as well as in alcohol, tobacco, legal and illegal drugs.
We also produce toxins internally when we are stressed as our body releases toxins accumulated in the fat cells which circulate in the bloodstream.
Vitamin and mineral deficiency as well as allergies are common symptoms of a toxic body, as well as fatigue, depression, skin problems, back pain, joint pain, etc.
A detox is a natural way to get rid of unwanted toxic material in the body, a vacation for the entire organism which is purified to achieve maximum health.
Marga’s detox programs combine a healthy raw diet, fresh juices and natural supplements to give the body all it needs and to assist in removing toxic material from the intestines with the aid of natural ingredients and colonics.
When toxins are released during a detox program, symptoms of headache, irritability, tiredness and skin eruptions, nausea, heartburn, as well as aching bones and joints can be experienced. This depends on the amount of toxins in the body and it is a natural process.
By using natural ingredients we can assist in the detox program depending on the symptoms manifesting.
Once this stage is passed, the feeling of a clean body manifests and we will feel more energetic, alert and full of vitality.
A detox is a time of reflection; once we learn to listen to our body, we will learn what is good for it and be more aware of our lifestyle.
All the products used in our detox are 100% natural.
It's The Raw Food Rehab !!!
The Raw Food Rehab is a program which aims at restoring health and wellness by consuming natural uncooked and unprocessed foods such as vegetables, fruits, seeds, herbs, juices, and water.
The purpose of the Raw Food Rehab is to eliminate toxins accumulated in the body by consuming an acid forming diet; to restore acid/alkaline balance in the body; to inform and guide guests to a healthier lifestyle.
The Raw Food Rehab is more than a detoxification process; it is a life changing experience leading the body to a state of natural health that can be felt after few days as toxins are eliminated.
The benefits of the Raw Food Rehab include weight loss, clearer skin, increased energy levels, better sleep, improved digestion and elimination, mental clarity, etc.
RAW FOOD DIET
A raw food diet is a diet which is 75-100% natural, live, organic raw and unprocessed food and live water. Cooking produces toxins which store in the body disrupting the acid/alkaline balance and leading to disease. Cooking destroys live enzymes which are essential for digestion and for all the chemical processes in the body. Cooking creates carcinogens and free radicals which develop into cancer, heart disease and premature ageing. This is especially true in frying which make oil oxidize destroying vitamin A and E that the body requires to protect us from free radicals.
Eating raw food benefits health and longevity as it contains nutrients that are not available in cooked food, such as natural hormones found in live superfoods, oxygen which is essential to prevent diseases like cancer (which cannot exist in an adequately oxygenated body); enzymes, which are essential for digestion, and natural antioxidants.
Cooking destroys most of the original nutrients of the food; food processing and refining also cause enormous changes in the food we eat as the heating process kills enzymes.
A raw food diet is alkaline contrary to a diet of processed, refined and cooked food which creates acid in our system. If the body gets too acidic, it borrows minerals such as calcium from our bones to be able to neutralize the bloodstream. This is the cause of osteoporosis as well as other diseases which thrive in a high acid environment.
Maintaining the body alkaline means having a disease free body.
The human body regenerates itself continuously as every cell replicates itself regularly. By cleaning out cells by consuming a raw food diet, the body becomes pure in only few days it totally renews in a matter of months.
Alkaline foods are raw food that, when metabolized, leave an alkaline residue in the body.
It is the alkaline/acid balance of the body to determine if disease can survive or not in the body. Disease thrives in a more acidic environment, while health flourishes in alkaline surroundings.
The raw food diet includes fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, seaweed, dried fruit, juices (if freshly made) and mineral water.
Dried food is allowed as the drying process doesn't reach a temperature high enough to kill off enzymes.
Most raw food is very high in vitamins and minerals, providing an excellent source of the nutrients needed by the body. Raw food is easily digested supplying a great amount of energy and providing a high quantity of water needed by the body.
Consuming raw food makes the body less prone to illnesses such as cancer and heart disease. Energy level increase and other benefits can be seen in clear skin, stronger hair and nails.
A raw food diet should be started gradually reducing the amount of cooked food while incorporating more raw vegetable, fruits and juices to each meal. This is especially true if the previous diet was high in toxins as the detoxification process would manifest as headaches, nausea, as well as other symptoms for the first few days.
Detoxification symptoms manifest according to the amount of toxins present in our body .
By cooking, most vitamins and minerals are destroyed; this leads to lack of enzymes which our body needs to maintain and repair our organs. Lack of enzymes results in poor health and disease.
Raw food, on the contrary, retain all their nutrients.
The raw food detox encourages a natural and healthy lifestyle; the build up of toxic material in the body leads to many health problems including low energy. This is because the body is too busy processing unhealthy food and it has little energy left to do anything else. Some of the benefits of the raw food detox are:
Increased energy - less cravings - weight loss and maintenance - improved skin appearance - better digestion - weight loss.
The raw food detox eliminates all processed, cooked and artificial foods and refined sugars. It flushes out toxins and waste products from the body and it encourages a healthier lifestyle by eating as much fresh and raw food at each meal as possible. It is based on unprocessed, uncooked plant foods (fruit and vegetables), sprouts, seeds, nuts beans and seaweed. It is low in sodium and high in potassium, magnesium, and fibers.
Some people experience a detoxification reaction when they start the raw food diet, especially if their previous diet was rich in meat, sugar, and caffeine. Mild headaches, nausea, and cravings can occur but usually last for several days.
The raw food diet may not be appropriate for certain people, such as:
Pregnant or nursing women
People with anemia
People suffering from gastrointestinal problems
People at risk for osteoporosis -
Any other existing ailments should be discussed before taking any program.
Juicing is a way to allow a high concentration of nutrients in our body.
Juices should be natural and sugar free; the juices bought in shops and supermarkets are usually full of added sugars and preservatives and they are not an healthy option for a detox.
Fresh juice contains all nutrients needed by the body and it discards fibers which are not needed during the purification process.
The benefits of juicing can be felt instantly with and increase of energy, a feeling of purification and lightness of the body.
A typical juice fast involves, possibly, a few days of preparation where alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, sugar, dairy, animal products and eggs are reduced or eliminated.
Ideally few Days eating only raw foods is the best, possibly organic.
WHAT IS THE MAIN INGREDIENT OF OUR JUICES?
Coconut water is the basis of all our juices; this is because of the many benefits of coconut which are listed here below.
Coconut water is rich in vitamins and minerals and it helps re-hydrating the body naturally. It contains sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. It is a natural electrolyte.
Coconut also kills bacteria and fungi, boost energy, improves digestion, reduces inflammation, softens skin, aid weight loss, is antioxidant, support immune system.
Many of you might think of coconut as a fatty ingredient and wondering how it can help in weight loss. Here are the facts:
Coconut oil contains the richest source of medium chain triglycerides, which are converted into fuel for the body to burn, without turning into fat. Coconut oil burns calories; it stimulates the thyroid and, by stabilizing blood sugar levels, it helps losing weight.
YOGA AND DETOX
A gentle yoga program helps speeding up the detoxification process.
The gentle yoga exercises help moving waste material to organs of secretions, speeding up the elimination process.
Breathing exercises also aid oxygen circulation in the system as well as removing toxins through the lungs.
Relaxation between poses allow regeneration of tissues and promotes the body healing process.
By eliminating toxins on a physical level, negative emotions can be experienced.
Yoga cleanse energy channels in the body and this leads to an increase of energy in the body and also clarity of mind.
The purification process is often troubled, especially on the 3rd and 4th day of the detox and various symptoms can manifest such as headaches, nausea, aches and pains, heartburn, irritability, tiredness.
The Chakra Detox is seven day program aimed at restoring optimal health and wellbeing by cleansing and rebalancing your body, mind and spirit.
A total cleanse: The body will be purified and energized by consuming only natural organic juices, plant extracts, teas, supplements and soups.
A relaxation program: Your mind will be soothed by a gentle practice of Hatha Yoga and Meditation.
A deep connection to your inner self: Insight and clarity will be gained from working daily on one of the seven major Chakras. With the help of Mantras, Yoga Poses, Breathing Techniques and Daily Activities related to the specific Chakra, you will begin to establish a clearer understanding of your true nature, helping you become more in tune with your spiritual self.
The Chakra Detox might not open your third eye, it will, however, open your eyes to the detrimental effect that lifestyles and life choices have on the body, mind and spirit.
You will acquire knowledge on how to eat healthier, think healthier and live healthier by simplybecoming aware… most people believe toxins come from hazardous chemicals that they have no contact with, the truth is we live in toxic environments. Toxins enter the body in many ways: the food we eat contains toxins, as does the air we breathe, the chemicals we use on our body can be found, if tested, in the blood stream. People can be toxic and emotionally draining, noise can be a pollutant that shakes our core. Even our behavior and thoughts towards ourselves and others can leave a toxic residue that contaminates our sense of wellbeing.
When polluted, the body will feel physical illness, just as the mind will be distressed and emotionally unbalanced when it is not cleared of the barrage of toxins that it is in contact with, daily.
Inside, we all have a filling system where all of our thoughts, emotions, beliefs and actions are stored away; generally we think and do what the information in our filling cabinets tells us to do, this is the information we use because it is we believe all we have to work with… we have readymade blueprints that map out how to apply and when to apply emotion, when to act and what to do in certain situations is governed by the readymade plan.
Our energy centers or chakras are also, in a sense, filling cabinets that contain emotion and their bodily sensation. Working with the chakras you will attain the ability to change deep-rooted habits and move on from a life that is lackluster, stagnant and suffers from routine. You will to view your old maps and plans that have been guiding your life and behavior and have the opportunity to revise and change them or ask, is it time for new ones to be drawn-up?
WHAT ARE CHAKRAS?
Chakras are energy centers situated at particular points in our body, connected to major organs and glands. Although there are many Chakras in our body, there are 7 major ones which are regarded as the most important to balance our body and emotions.
The location of each Chakra is physically associated to the organs of the body in that particular area; blocked energy in our 7 Chakras can often lead to illness, so it's important to understand what each Chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely.
Each Chakra is connected to our emotions, experiences and unconscious.
Like the beautiful lotus flower that symbolizes the Chakras, human growth passes from the lower state of awareness to a higher state of consciousness to bring forth the blossoming of our potential.
Mooladhara Chakra, at the base of the spine, physically connected to kidneys, bladder, hips and legs, adrenal glands; it is the first chakra in spiritual evolution and it deals with survival issues.

Unbalanced: tension headache, migraine, visual defects, short-sightedness, long-sightedness, glaucoma, cataract, ear problems, inconsiderate and scattered mind.
Sahasrara Chakra, on the top of the head, physically connected to the brain and the pineal gland; it is our connection with spirituality.
Unbalanced: depression, Parkinson's disease, Schizophrenia, Epilepsy, Alzheimer's, many mental disorders, confusion and dizziness, no concern for others, superiority feeling, not in touch with reality.
HOW DOES THE CHAKRA DETOX WORK?
-DETOXING BODY AND MIND TO CONNECT WITH THE INNER SELF-
In synergy, a combination of foods and activities will be used during the 7 day program.
Daily, work will begin on purifying one of the Chakras… observing and understanding the core functions that need to be regularly maintained and tuned to achieve a harmonious balance that resonates on your frequency.
The daily foods (juices, soups, teas) and supplements are chosen to give sustenance to the organs related to the Chakra of the day. Support and guidance alongside a combination of yoga postures, meditation, breathing techniques and mantras will be provided that will balance the energy and cleanse the Chakra.
Meditation and visualization on the Chakras will establish a deeper connection with the true self and have a profound calming effect on the mind.
Daily activities vary from walks in nature, singing, writing, talking, reading, workshops and reflection time.
Opening a Chakra is a process that needs to be continued for some time; energy channels (nadis) need to be purified before the Chakra opens. This is achieved by a constant pranayama (breathing exercises) practice.
While some physical and emotional experiences can be felt immediately, these practices are aimed and centered on helping the participant continue to observe and practice what has been learned and follow the path that leads to our true self, regardless of obstacles.
“ As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world - that is the myth of the atomic age – it is in being able to remake ourselves.” Mahatma Gandhi
